Level 1 - Level 2 Desktop Support Engineers - Windows 7 Migration

Our client; a world class player in the global pharmaceutical industry is looking to roll out a Windows Seven migration across Europe. Our company, a global staffing and consulting company is charged with this migration.

We seek a small team of engineers experienced in desktop support at level one or two for onsite deployment in Rueil-Malmaison for a short term project. There may well be then opportunities to be deployed on subsequent projects as the projects in other locations across Europe over the coming months.

French language to business level is essential.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications for a Windows upgrade project.

- Device by device tasks will include;
- Recover existing Windows XP PCs meeting hardware standards and re-image those PCs with client standard Win 7 image; return PCs to end users.
- Imaging or re-imaging a PC generally involves:
- Backing up user data (tool available)
- Installing base OS
- Installing mandatory catalog (OSD Task Sequence and Collection push)
- Encrypting PC hard drive or SSD using Bitlocker
- Perform first user login
- Install previously available end-user applications (tool available)
- Install software updates
- Restore user data (tool available)
