Level 1 Application Support Specialist

Projektbeschreibung

Our client a global consulting company is currently seeking a Level 1 Application Support Specialist to join their team on a 6 month contract basis based in Dublin City Centre.

The role will require triage and investigation into complex interface issues, understand the problem, identify appropriate issue owner and coordinate viable work around and resolution of issue with the issue owner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide Level 1 support for Internet-facing applications.
- Log, prioritise and assign issues/requests from users and technology groups.
- Incidents could include users unable to log in or reporting a problem with the functionality of an application
- Provide resolution for documented solutions.
- Maintain team knowledgebase
- Provide service reporting

JOB REQUIREMENTS

KEY COMPETENCIES

- Prior relevant experience providing level 1 support in a complex technical and global environment
- Prior relevant experience of supporting web technologies including browsers, HTML, Internet, connectivity, Windows, UNIX, SQL
- Prior relevant experience of the financial services industry and applications, preferably with a focus on Securities or Hedge Funds (prior knowledge of Fund Administration is not mandatory)
