Lens Free Imaging Researcher - Belgium.
We are urgently looking for a Lens Free Imaging Researcher responsible for the development of novel lens-free microscopy systems.
The candidate will design novel imaging configurations, including lasers/LED's, micro-optics and photonic devices, and perform simulation, modelling and analytical evaluation of device performance.
The ideal candidate has the following profile:
- A Master's Degree in Applied Physics.
- Hands-on experience in optical system building and micro-optics design or imaging applications.
- Experience in programming in C/C++ or Python.
- Experience in optical simulation, eg. Using tools like Zemax, COMSOL.
- Experience in working in a research or development environment.
This freelance assignment is in Belgium and is expected to last at least an initial period of 6 months.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Belgium, and available to start as soon as possible.
