Lending Operations Manager - Retail Banking

Exciting opportunity for someone to move into a management role to provide loan operations and service functions in support of the entire bank's lending portfolio.

This role will provide the successful candidate with an exceptional opportunity to help set up, shape and grow an expanding department within Lending Operations.

Typical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Responsible for a wide variety of loan operations and service functions
* Processing commercial loan and mortgage draw drowns including adding deals to the core banking system
* Taking responsibility for queries and problems in respect of existing loans and mortgages
* Oversee the loan and mortgage fee reconciliation process
* Take ownership for the full suite of loan servicing post lending case diaries
* Drive improvements and best practice in all aspects of collateral management
* Mentor and coach the team and create a robust succession plan
* Dovetail with the other managers in the department to ensure top class tactical day to day management is the norm
* Deliver on all SLA's
* Stakeholder management is a core component of the role
* Skill up and assist with the commercial and mortgage workflows as required - perform any other ad hoc task as directed by HOD

Experience
Must have in depth Commercial lending documentation knowledge and be a SME on all aspects of Collateral management. T24 Collateral UAT experience an advantage

Qualifications
CeMap qualified an advantage. The ability to work under pressure is a prerequisite.
Must be seasoned in stakeholder management.
