SALARY & BENEFITS: £competitive salary dependent on experience

HOURS: Full time Monday - Friday

Maternity cover position for a minimum of 6 months with possible extension

THE ROLE: Legal Secretary

A vacancy has arisen within the EU, Competition & Regulatory practice group of our clients Glasgow office for an experienced Legal Secretary to cover a period of maternity leave. As part of a successful and busy team, you will be responsible for the provision of efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative support to a Partner and a group of fee earners, ensuring all client work is carried out in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- -

Audio typing

Copy typing
-

Diary Management
-

Monthly feeing
-

Organising travel arrangements, meetings and events
-

Preparing PowerPoint presentations
-

Other administrative tasks as needed

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within the legal sector. Applications will also be considered from candidates with a strong secretarial background gained from other industries with a preference in Professional Services.

It is essential that you have accurate typing skills, are well organised and able to work in a busy and fast paced environment. Good communication skills and telephone manner are essential. You must also have a flexible approach to your workload with a strong customer focus.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally gained from the legal sector

Accurate typing skills - 70 wpm

Audio typing skills would be a distinct advantage

Advanced Word and PowerPoint and Intermediate Excel
