Legal Counsel

Robert Walters is currently engaged with one of the leading Banking Institutions in the West Midlands to find an Alternative & Fund Solutions Lawyer.

The successful candidate will form part of the Alternative & Fund Solutions team and assist with negotiations of fund brokerages and trading documents. Liaise and coordinate with Legal, Risk & Capital division of the bank and advise stakeholders on legal implications of any proposed amendments to documents and agreements.

A confident candidate with good legal drafting ability and strong negotiation skills, a law degree or other honors degree plus CPE & LPC qualifications. Solicitor (NQ to 3 years PQE) or equivalent and a minimum of 12 months experience in negotiating law contracts. If you have worked at a leading law firm, financial services company, hedge fund or asset management company this will be to your advantage.
