Legal Counsel

I am looking for a Legal Counsel for my global client based in London.

The rate is around £300 a day for a 12 month (minimum) contract.

The purpose of this role is to provide legal counsel and support to the business unit focusing on logistics, shipping and delivery.

Responsibilities

* Providing legal support and counsel to all aspects of delivery services and related programmes including commercial and product support, website and application features as well as logistic issues.

* To structure, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and maintain legal standards.

* Providing policy and legal guidance and co-ordination with government relation teams.

* Co-ordinating with other legal departments and assisting company transactions.

Essential Skills

* Qualified solicitor of at least 4 years and a minimum of 2 years in house experience.

* Hands on experience with commercial agreements preferably in logistics services.

*Experience with in-house legal product counselling preferably with an Internet company.

* Proven ability to manage complex legal transactions.

*Experience within Courier networks is a plus.
