Legal Compliance Officer (6 month Contract)

A young and Unique global Hedge Fund in Amsterdam are looking for a diverse Legal and compliance officer to join their team. The client are looking for an experienced compliance officer with a legal background who is more of a broad generalist within the compliance space than a specialist in one particular area. The successful candidates experience should stem from a Hedge Fund or an Asset Manager, ideally small-mid sized firms.

Skills Required for Legal Compliance Officer

- Good knowledge of regulatory compliance eg EMIR, AIFMD, FATCA.
- Good Knowledge of AML, Due Diligence and KYC.
- Law background, Possibly a Law degree or prior experience working in a law firm.
- Strong Knowledge of up to date relevant legislation and law within the Netherlands.
- Possibly Business analyst/project management experience.
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
