Legal/Commercial Manager

Our Client is a Global Support Services company, HQ in Southampton, providing full life cycle solutions to the Marine, Defence, Aerospace, Leisure, Manufacturing & distribution industries.

They require a Legal/Commercial Manager to:

- Provide assistance to the Group general counsel on a wide range of legal and commercial issues affecting the businesses.
- Reviewing, drafting and where necessary negotiating a variety of contracts including non disclosure agreements, standard terms and conditions of business, supply and purchase contracts, agents and distribution agreements, and bids and tenders.
- Provide advice and support to internal customers on commercial issues relating to current and future contracts
- Provide advice and guidance to the business in relation to key legal risks, participate in tender reviews and prepare risk assessments where necessary for contracts/bids and proposals.

This person will be responsible for reviewing contract documentation, advise to brokers/sales, supply, services contracts with manufacturing, distribution, engineering or broad based support service background. International experience a great advantage as is multi jurisdictional exposure. Must have relevant Sector background, as indicated above.

This is a FT contract operating mainly from Southampton, beginning immediately initially for 2-3 months. It is probable this will lead to a longer term extension or full time role.
