Legal Billing Specialist Job

LEGAL BILLING SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SILVER SPRING, MD

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- BA/Bachelors' degree is preferred
- Must have ability to manage complex litigation and trademark billing portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Setting up of new litigation and trademark billing matters, liaising with the billing departments for outside counsel, liaising with the Company's e-billing vendor, liaising with the Company's internal accounting and finance department.
- Maintain docketing, filing, invoicing and record-keeping systems; generate reports relating to same.
- Familiarity with E-billing software

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors' degree or relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have ability to manage complex litigation and trademark billing portfolio.
- Ability to function on an independent basis, with moderate supervision and as part of a larger team.
- Ability to handle high volume of work and multi-task a variety of assignments, as well as recognize priorities and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work within an evolving and changing environment.
- Excellent computer skills a must (including Microsoft Word, Excel, knowledge/experience setting up databases, tables
