Legal Advisor

Employment Law, Data Protection, Contracts, Litigation, DPA.

Spring Technology are looking for a Legal Advisor for our public sector client based in London.

This is a challenging and fulfilling role that will require the job holder to be self-starting, very well organised, confident and energetic. They will own a number of high-profile matters. They will provide timely and effective legal advice to the senior managers and officers across the organisation as part of a team of lawyers responsible for Employment, Governance, Information Law, Litigation, Contracts and Procurement. Advise on risk with regard managing public money and the standards of public life.
Representing the organisation at meetings with officers, stakeholders, Counsel, and attendance at tribunal and Court in an advisory capacity.

Essential Skills:
*Substantial and evidenced experience of employment law and litigation, advising on replies to FOIA requests and data protection issues, procurement and contracts.
*A strong ability to think creatively and constructively,
an ability to translate complex ideas into a clear plain English
*Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
*Ability to master new areas of law at speed
*Resilience to work under pressure, and an ability to deliver at pace
*An ability to work collaboratively
*Good self-awareness and a commitment to learning and developing

Desirable Skills:
*DPA and FOIA trained
*Project management
