One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Learning Training Specialist to ensure that learning is effectively and efficiently deployed
Start: ASAP
End: 31/12/13
Location: South of Brussels
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
This function is located in the business to help the Training Manager:
Ensure that learning is effectively and efficiently deployed and managed for the Site so that high quality level learning practices are in place QCor QA shared services in Quality (200-650 FTE)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Day-to-day management and coordination of learning activities
* Act as a single point of contact for a dedicated population(Site/MPU) to any employee from the entity he/she is responsible forand provide support and guidance in day-to-day learning operations
* Follow and Implement tasks related to the Site Quality Plan (QIP training/documentation)
* Through the help of learning administrator, maintain and updatelearning data in the learning system
* Contribute to learning needs analysis performed by learning businesspartner (Vaccines Learning Center - VLC) for all competence types and for all employees included in a dedicated population
in order to develop a learning solution and help mapping a newreduced Matrix to simplify learning
* Work closely with learning support business partners(VLC) inorder to provide adequate local learning resources (eg, contentowners) to deliver high-quality learning solutions
* Support the Training Manager to implement/facilitate change management initiatives linked to adoption program
* Take appropriate actions to keep the learning processes under control
* Contribute to the learning network by sharing good learning and documentation practices
* Prevent "Silo" effect between documentation and learning system, by promoting user-friendly & pedagogically adapted documentation practices so that document and local training packages become an
effective support to employee learning
* Coordinate the information and training activities associated to documentation revision
* Act as a trainer if necessary
PREREQUISITES:
Education:
- Bachelor and/or master degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- Business knowledge of Biologicals or life sciences industry
KNOWLEDGE:
- cGMP on training
- Work cooperatively across the organization
- Support team decisions and/or challenge if necessary
- Develop and coach others
- Take ownership of tasks and issues
- Deliver on commitments and execute with excellence
EXPERIENCE:
- 4 to 6 years of business experience
- Preferred experience in learning environment
- Develop, manage and maintain structured relationships
- Work collaboratively to deliver joint solutions to complex business problems
- Share information, skills and resources
- Use self-awareness to enhance relationships with others
