Located just 15 minutes from Manchester city centre, a Client Primary School is looking to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3 who has a statement for Autism. The Head teacher is ideally searching for a talented learning support assistant who can work on a full time basis until the end of academic year at least.

As a learning support assistant you will report directly to the Year 3 class teacher and SENCO, recording and monitoring progress of the pupil you will be working with. This is a challenging role that requires a committed individual, who can build a strong relationship with the pupil and help him to focus on classwork and build confidence when interacting with other pupils.

Ideally you will have a strong academic record and previous experience of working with children in a similar role. The School are looking to interview the successful candidate before the 15th of February with a view to starting after the half term break, you will need to be available on a full time basis to be considered for this role.

The main responsibilities for this role will involve;

**Working in class and focussing on Literacy and Numeracy attainment
**Assisting and supporting the pupil during PE lessons
**recording attainment progress and reporting directly to class teacher and SENCO
**Building a long lasting relationship to help him progress in a new Schooling environment
