I have an excellent opportunity for a learning Manager to work for a major Banking company based in Chester.

The Learning Manager will support the broad learning needs of employees by applying knowledge and expertise of the learning cycle, creating effective learning interventions that develop the skills, knowledge and capability of employees. The Learning Manager works closely with the Learning Consultants to ensure the most appropriate resource is aligned to agreed deliverable. In addition the Learning Manager will research and implement new and innovative channels for the delivery of learning solutions, which are future focused around Digital and Business Transformation.

* Previous experience of leading teams of Instructors
* Experience of designing and delivering both technical and behavioural learning solutions
* Expert design capability and knowledge of E-learning solutions
* Proven experience of designing solutions for delivery across a broad range of channels
* Knowledge and experience of working within Learning Management Systems
* Knowledge and awareness of the Digital landscape
* Proven experience of leading transformational projects and initiatives from a Learning perspective
* Experience of working in Retail and/or Financial Services
* Expert Coaching skills

Candidates need to have experience within Digital banking.

Key Account abilities and Responsibilities - The day to day activities, any specific management routines that the job holder may be involved in or own.

* Accountable for the design and delivery of new learning interventions that drive engagement and build Digital knowledge, skills and capability across the business, working in partnership with the Learning Consultant to ensure learning plan objectives are achieved within the agreed time frames
* Lead the team to design 'learner centric' solutions that meet the overall business objectives and provide 'best in class' learner experience
* Lead the team to design and/or deliver Learning interventions aligned to the Employee Experience, making relevant connectivity across OE
* Lead the research and implementation of new channels for the delivery of learning solutions to meet the ever changing needs of both the business and the learner
* Accountable for ensuring the most appropriate learning resources are aligned to agreed deliver ables
* Accountable for the Learning Curriculum, ensuring new and existing learning solutions are designed/maintained within the Learning Governance Framework
* Maintain an organized approach to managing daily learning activities for the team and be able to simultaneously balance multiple demands to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity
* Drive the effective implementation of specific learning solutions in partnership with the Learning Consultants to improve business and employees performance
* Lead the monitoring and analysis of the return on investment and overall performance of all learning interventions, driving measurable improvements where required
