Learning Management System Manager

My client are a professional services firm based in London, and require an Interim LMS Manager to join the team for a period of 6 months.

They have recently implemented a Learning Management System in all offices that:

- Provides a central location for all training information;
- Provides individuals with easy access to training and personal development records
- Allows L&D to offer courses relevant to different groups, to book and manage course participants
- Increases international collaboration across the Learning & Development function

The successful candidate taking on the role of LMS Manager will liaise with people in the firm who set up, deliver and manage courses, prepare users for the system, gain an understanding of and communicate how the system will impact users' working practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with the Head of L&D to manage stakeholder communications
- Lead and/or participate in LMS training in the network as appropriate
- Define, implement and maintain working practices and policies necessary to maximise efficiency and ensure the quality of the information in the system
- Own E-learning strategy, defining technologies and manage relationships with external E-learning vendors
- Line management of one team member

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience of rolling out and maintaining a Learning Management Solution
- Able to demonstrate experience of providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to resolve issues
- Experience of multi-tasking, prioritizing and delivering in a highly pressured environment
- Ability to understand and work with innovations in technology
