Learning & Development Strategy Consultant

West London

5 month contract

£800 - £900 per day

Our client is a global energy organisation and is looking for a Learning & Development Strategy Consultant to join the team on an initial 5 month contract with a view to extend. You will support the Head of the Centre of Expertise and the Strategy & Services Manager in the design and mobilisation of Learning Operations services and organisation, including the definition of a Learning Operations Service Catalogue, Learning Operations Service Design and Operating Manual.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a Service Catalogue that comprehensively details the customer-facing operational services
- Develop (and lead a small team to develop) a comprehensive Service Design and Service Operating Manual for the Learning Operations Delivery organisation
- Work with the Manager to define a release plan for delivering the Service Catalogue to the business
- Work with the Organisation Design Consultant to design the job roles, location, sizing and people capability required within LO hubs and local sites to deliver the LO services.
- Develop relevant training material to educate and build the skills of people that will manage and deliver the LO services.

Skills:

- Experience in designing service strategy, service catalogue and service management components, ideally in learning and for shared services
- Track record and expertise in HR/Learning Shared Services process delivery and design.
- Experience in assessing requirements and customising system implementation.
- Track record of working in a fast paced challenging environment and delivering high quality deliverables within budget and to tight deadlines.

Desirable skills:

- Experience of working within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in organisation design, preferably within HR and Learning disciplines.
- Experience in working with learning management systems.
- Experience within large-scale change programmes and managing organisational change.
