Learning & Development Manager - Reading Based - 6 Month Contract - Ci

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - READING BASED - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - CIRCA £420 P/D

My client a leading FTSE 100 energy company with offices in reading is looking to recruit Learning and Development Manager. The role is less about pure IT and more about Technical Aptitude of the individual. The successful candidate must have some experience from an L&D background but can also have background in Chemistry/IT/Engineering/Research. You need to be able to create Technical Learning Frameworks. That means dealing with technical people and defining technical criteria for job families (not IT the criteria could be linked to Chemists or Engineering. The successful candidate does not have to build a system or write code but you need to understand what is essential in building a good learning system and how systems are structured. This is an initial 6 month contract offering circa £420 per day.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Significant experience as a learning professional with specific experience in functional/technical learning

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Masters degree in learning or organizational development preferred.
- Fuels/Lubricants industry or technology experience a plus
