Learning & Development Coordinator - Canary Wharf Based - 12 Month Contract

A tier one investment bank is currently looking to recruit a Learning & Development Coordinator to join their offices based in Canary Wharf. The individual will provide continuity of cover to ensure new hired staff are trained to operate their systems and understand their key processes. As a Learning and Development Coordinator you will need Investment banking experience and also E-learning experience.

The key areas of responsibility for a Learning and Development Coordinator:

Operational management of the CPD system, MyCompetence
*Ensure CPD years are accurately recorded in MyCompetence
*Creating learning events on a weekly basis
*Tracking completion of mandatory training
*Updating training records (MyLearning->MyCompetence) on a monthly basis
*Reporting on CPD activity on a quarterly/monthly basis
*Provide 1st line support on CPD-related issues
*Conduct routine administration of the MyCompetence system
*Add, amend and remove employees on the MyCompetence system
*Provide CPD reports for leavers

Maintaining T
oAuthorise release of BlackBerry/Business Cards/AMEX
oObtain Full Competence sign off
oNotify CCG/Registrations of change in status from "Trainee CF30" to "Competent CF30"
oProvide basic at-desk systems (RMPlus, Globus, EWF etc) and process (Account opening etc) training to new hired RMs and Analysts

Administering External Education applications
*Advise applicants of the EE rules
*Administer EE applications
*Tracking and reporting on progress of external courses

Front Line Certification
*Responsible for administering FrontLine Training Certification in the UK.
*Coordinate and assist Switzerland with the facilitation of semi-annual Assessment Centres.
*Maintain the participant report for the Frontline Certification, ensuring that all new hires are assigned to the correct certification
*Maintain adequate numbers of Line Experts to enable smooth running of Assessment Centres

eLearning
*Maintain and update content of policies and procedures eLearning suit delivered to new hires
*Maintain regular contact with the Project Office, FOS, FO to produce eLearning on an ad hoc basis
*Project lead the updating of the Rules of the Road eLearning
*Training Support
*Offer logistic support to the Project Team and the Front Office:
*Booking rooms,
*Sending invites
*Tracking attendance etc.
*Payment of invoices via MyShop portal
