Learning Designer

Learning Designer required for our client a leading mobile operator to report into the Learning Services Manager working collaboratively and proactively with channel training and central learning colleagues to ensure that solutions are blended, fit for purpose and can be implemented to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities:-

To drive classroom learning provision as part of blended solutions including:-

- Classroom design incorporating all necessary content production - visuals (video and Animation)
- Supporting tool-kits for embedding the learning
- Utilising the digital space for social learning
- eBooks
- Work with development consultants to capture SME knowledge and ensure classroom solutions are aligned with the brand
- Improve, update and maintain existing digital learning solutions to support learning architecture and framework
- Design the classroom element of blended training solutions for multichannel and central functions as identified by the Learning Services Manager and agreed within the Learning framework
- Provide and make sure of up to date external insight in training design methodology, content and evaluation methods
- Meet KPIs and comply with department and comply with department governance
- Deliver specific projects, as directed by the Learning Services Manager
- Manage stakeholders effectively
- Manage external vendor accounts for assigned projects
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts
- Manager project workflows
- Raise awareness of and incorporate market trends within the learning space
- Evaluate effectiveness of outputs based on current evaluation methodology.

We are looking for people who have experience designing learning frameworks and solutions in a corporate environment. Understanding and knowledge of learning methodology and experience of successful application. Experience and knowledge of creating and designing blended learning development programmes for the management population. A background of building systems training, internal consultancy skills to enable collaborative working and develop workable business solutions, have credibility with stakeholders. Have knowledge of learning evaluation methods, supplier and budget management and commercial acumen.
