LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - COMPETENCY FRAMEWORKS - ASSESSMENT TOOLS - LEADERSHIP - INFLUENCE & COACHING SKILLS

Our well known Oil and Gas provider requires a Learning and Development Specialist to develop assessment tools and processes for Safety & Operational Critical Roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assess employees upon entry into safety operational risk critical roles and at defined intervals thereafter, against the required competencies for their role
- Record assessments, identify any gaps and take identified training and development actions to close them
- Develop and implement a Global Competency Framework for safety operational risk critical roles
- Adopt modified Assessment Tools from those existing in other parts of the business

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience in a learning and development role, ideally with evidence of competency frameworks and assessment tools in previous roles
- Adept at bringing dispersed team of technical experts together to inform framework
- Influencing and coaching skills required to embed competency assessment and development into the plant network
- Technical and leadership competencies
