LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SC CLEARED

We currently have a requirement for a LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to work on an exciting 2 month contract with one of our leading clients. The role is based in the area of WILTSHIRE and our client is wiling to pay excellent rates of up to £500 per day. Applicants are required to hold a current SC CLEARANCE and the role is for 3 days a week initially.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete the transition to CSL, with systems, processes and communications all set up, and a clear method of governance Ensure that our Leadership Development programme is set up and running - providing support to the appropriate Learning Consultant Ensure this fits into a good quality process based on DSAT. This to cover Needs Analysis, Solutions maps, tracking and evaluation and administration. Ensure that suppliers are set up and assimilated into the clients training offerings Work closely to ensure the emerging partnership is successful and we are achieving maximum value Ensure the communications of all of the offerings is successful, including the inclusion of Defence Academy and DLP provision Implement any decisions on the working agreements with defence Academy.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Must be security cleared
- Must have strong experience of L&D tools and techniques in other organisations.
- Good process management
- Good analysis and information management ability
- Politically astute and able to deal with many stakeholders outside of the client.
- Has significant experience of managing the planning and delivery of blended learning solutions inside a professional organisation
- Happy to work in Back Office role

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Membership of an appropriate professional body (CIPD or ITOL, etc)
- Understanding of DSAT, or, otherwise, LEAN or 6Sigma principles
- Experience of Training and Development in a Science based organisation
