JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting time for our client as they embark on a program to significantly upgrade and expand the capability of their Passenger Service System (PSS).
-

This program will not only improve technical and functional components of the eco-system but also give Emirates an opportunity to review how they do business to drive process and productivity improvements.
-

This will lead to revolutionising how our customers will experience travel in the future and provide our team members with new ways to demonstrate the value of Emirates to our customers.
-

Responsible for effective implementation of corporate training and development strategies, ensure that all L&D solutions are aligned to desired business results, developed and delivered using global best practices, within set budget and quality frameworks.
-

From new system training to process and change management training, ensure effective training programs are designed incorporating key learning principles and training material is aligned with organizational vision and core values.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Human Resources.

Other: 8+ Years Degree or Honours

(12+3 or equivalent)

Qualifications:

Specialization: In one of the following areas is preferred:

- Aviation
- Marketing Business
- HRD related field
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Airport and Commercial Operations

EDUCATION/TRAINING

- Professional qualifications in HR (eg CIPD/City and Guilds), training, psychology or organisational development would be preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 8 years in area of specialisation, with experience in a managerial or consultancy capacity.
- A minimum of 5 years specialisation in Instructional design and developing learning solutions (ie e learning mobile and social media based learning)

Knowledge/skills:

- Experience in project management handling large cross functional project across different departments
- Thorough knowledge of learning and development processes and methodologies.
- Experience of working in an environment aligned to international audit and regulatory requirements relevant to the area of specialisation.
- Experience in Instructional design and developing learning solution based on new technology (ie mobile learning and informal methods- social media learning)
- Demonstrate ability to manage process change and aligning the learning solutions to cover process and culture change
- Strong interpersonal skills and a cultural sensitivity to the local community would be critical for this role, together with the ability to influence diverse groups of people at all levels of the organisation and experience of developing relationships and managing learning and development projects with business managers.
- Demonstrated experience and skills as a change agent, with a proven track record of successful change initiatives and a demonstrated tolerance for ambiguity in a dynamic business environment, where priorities may change due to new initiatives and where a flexible, adaptable and responsive approach is critical to success.
- People management skills to be able to handle the diverse group of staff and conflict situations that could arise in the workplace and experience and qualifications in managing complex projects covering cross functional teams.
- Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation skills.
