Learning and Development Manager - CIPD - L&D - Training

Our public sector client requires a Learning and Development Manager join their team in Derby for an initial 6 month contract.

Experience Required

- A professional or technical HR qualification or relevant learning and development experience is essential eg MCIPD chartered
- A strong track record of delivering training courses in a customer focussed organisation.
- Strong change management ability to deliver successful outcomes for internal change projects
- Comprehensive understanding of people development strategies, policies and types of intervention and experience of working in this field.
- Experience planning and controlling all aspects of a range of HR/L&D projects
- Supporting the delivery of specific HR/L&D projects to meet objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed.
- To ensure the timely and effective delivery of a high quality, customer-focussed L&D service which includes the provision of professional, relevant and practical advice and guidance to managers on development and capability issues.

Please note - There will be travel involved in this role and the successful candidate will need to be eligible for Disclosure Scotland
