Learning and Development Manager

My Public Sector client are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be immediately available and extensive experience around training programmes. The role will be based in Reading.

Skills/Experience required
The role requires an experienced HR professional with the ability to quickly establish credibility in a demanding environment.

Specifically we are looking for an Interim with experience:
*Conducting the analysis of needs using existing data sources and commissioning further work where required
*Designing individual and team development plans for Executives, developing thorough proposals outlining options and costs and presenting for approval to an Executive Team
*Of commissioning suppliers through a procurement process or developing bespoke products
*Leading the implementation of specific interventions, writing briefings, communications plans and managers guides
*Monitoring the administration of training programmes, setting up processes where necessary
*Developing best practice approached to the evaluation of initiatives as part of programme design.
*Project management methodology and governance
*Stakeholder management
