A potential opportunity has arisen to join a high profile client, working in Birmingham. The Apprentice Scheme Manager will act as focal point for the recruitment and ongoing support of apprentices into the HA. They will also support the HA Graduate programme, and other learning and development initiatives as required.

Responsibilities

- To develop an understanding of the principals of the apprenticeship scheme.
- To map the apprentice process and create an associated Portal page, and to build an apprentice community across the agency for both apprentices and line managers.
- Establish and maintain proactive business support to deliver informed reporting and accurate transactions to agreed deadlines.
- To identify additional learning requirements to support the apprentices in achieving the NVQ level 3 - Business Admin qualification.
- Act as focal point for graduates on scheme.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

- Learning and development qualification
- Previous experience of working in a learning and development environment
- Previous experience of running apprentice/graduate schemes
- Experience in public sector/central government (desirable)
