LEAN COACH/BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT/CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT COACH - 12 MONTH FTC

FIXED TERM POSITION FOR 12 MONTHS

UP TO £53K (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE) + PENSION + PMI, 25 DAYS

SUFFOLK, CAMBRIDGE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, ESSEX

A talented LEAN Specialist/Coach is required by a market leader in Suffolk on a 12 month FTC basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to promote and facilitate delivery of continuous improvement activities on site in order to improve key business processes and behaviours driving significant increase in performance. You will report to the Head of Lean Transformation with strong business partner relationship with Value Stream teams.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Significant experience of Lean Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to deliver best practice coaching
- A track record of strong project delivery
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholder
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent related experience in technical, manufacturing, engineering or scientific discipline

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- - Support the Head of Lean Transformation in developing and delivering a strategy that will ensure that Lean is used as a matter of course in driving business improvements at all levels of the organisation
- Act as a mentor and coach to Managers and key members of staff to give them the confidence and commitment to drive sustainable continuous improvement in the organisation.
- Use expertise in the application of Lean and Change Management tools and techniques to interpret and apply the appropriate methods to deliver business improvement in line with the site strategy
- Participate in and facilitate improvement events in support of Lean Transformation program
- Design and deliver personally or through others motivational, high quality education programs across the site that aid learning and develop significant pools of expertise through the site
- Collaborate with the Group global Lean Leader network and support cross-site activities as required
- Help the Head of Lean Transformation to create an improvement program on site that will demonstrate best practice and make it the benchmark in delivering sustainable performance improvement
- Interact with external bodies to broaden knowledge base and understanding of best practice, facilitating transfer of knowledge in-house
- Design and deliver appropriate communications programs that will sustain improvement in the mind of all employees and ensure that progress against plans are seen and appreciated
