LEAN QC Labs Consultant

Edelway SA is a Swiss professional services consultancy.

We are currently looking to hire on a long term basis a highly motivated LEAN LABS QA/QC Consultant. You will join our team of experienced consultants in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva/Lausanne).

You will assist the Manager QA/QC Lean Implementation in the rollout of the deployment of Lean in the Quality Control Labs and on QA administrative processes. You will support the definition of the strategy for the Lean Labs rollout and support and work with the Lean team to elaborate the tactical plan and milestones for rollout.

THE ROLE
Technical
-Deploy the optimized sample analysis planning process
-Assist in the kick off of the Lean training program within the labs.
-Coach the QC labs personnel in the use of the Visual Management system
-Carry out baseline data collection to understand the "Current State"
-Assist in the implementation of an optimized Tier process

Safety
-Understand and apply HSE rules
-Contribute to the safety of employees and material

GMP
-Understand, respect and ensure respect to Good Manufacturing Practices
-Ensure that processes are correctly documented in SOP's and standards are correctly defined

Organizational
-Co ordinate and manage teams involved in the improvement process inside and outside QA and QC departments
-Assist the QA/QC manager in the planning of specific activities

Communication:
-Communicate on deployment progress alongside QA/QC Lean Manager to Quality teams
-Assist in regular reviews with the Manager Manufacturing Lean Implementation and with PMO reporting process

YOUR PROFILE
-More than 5 years in deploying LEAN outside a production environment and previous experience of managing a LEAN LABS deployment
-High knowledge in LEAN tools and techniques adapted for a lab environment including Six Sigma methodologies and Root Cause problem Solving
-Good level of understanding of a QC lab environment, the processes and the procedures required
-Knowledge of quality systems: Deviation/CAPA/Change Control
-Knowledge of SAP, LIMS or equivalent
