Lean Innovation Expert

The innovation expert will lead 5S program deployment in R&D. He/She will be part of the Process Innovation team within PIO organisation. He/She will operate to achieve the 5S plan agreed.

End-to-end responsibilities:

For delivery/implementation of prioritized Process Innovation projects (ADP, lean and operational excellence), within and across platforms and R&D centres worldwide.

These are projects that go beyond continuous improvement and will bring a step change towards simplifying the way our client operates:

Setting up the strategy, plan, overseeing implementation and providing day-to-day management of Change initiatives, and eventual handover to the business for building capability in the business while delivering change initiatives and impacting overall mind-set towards an aligned, prioritized focused approach

Key Responsibilities

Deliver process innovation and improvement change initiatives within assigned area. Develop strategy and plan for implementation of initiatives and support tracking and reporting for these initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring that process innovation activities (utilizing LEAN and/or ADP Methodology) improve not only compliance and quality but also operating efficiencies and productivity.
Drive proactive performance management in the implementation of the initiatives
Capture changes in blue-prints for all value streams and sub-streams and ensure that master blueprints are kept up to date, communicated through awareness/trainings, and can be accessed by end users
Manage relationships with platforms/RDCs, cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors that are part of the Change Initiative team.
Serve as key point of contact person for change initiatives and decision making for their assigned area.
Key contributor of data for Change Initiatives Governance and for Process Improvement Steering Committees.
Provide resource forecasting and make recommendation for procurement of teams from business to work on new initiatives
Supports corrective action/preventative actions (CAPA) plans to QA audits to ensure root cause analysis/correction to mitigate future risks.
Upon request by Platform/RDC Head, supports them in ensuring major preventative measures are implemented that build quality into processes/decision making.
Foster a culture of quality and efficiency from a process-centric approach
Act as an ADP/lean coach (to promote mind-set change), providing training, coaching, facilitation, and expertise in the ADP/lean processes and tools
