Lead Windows 7 Deployment Technician (Jersery City, NJ)
About the job:
We are looking for an experience Windows 7 Deployment Tech who has hands on experience leading the migration of Windows XP to 7. The ideal candidate will have their A+ certification, experience working with deploying Window 7, and 1-3 years of experience in a related field. This is a 1-Year long contract.
In this position you will:
Lead a team deploying Windows 7
Provide excellent customer service and will follow through with clients, even after issue has been resolved
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems; Hardware Break/Fix Support- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair client desktops, laptops and printers in an office environment
Requirements:
2-3+ years of experience in a Desktop or Field Tech support role
A+ Certification highly preferred
MUST have RECENT experience with Windows XP & 7, and Microsoft Office 2010
Strong communication, organization and planning, work ethic, client facing and interpersonal skills.
Must have reliable transportation

This is a fast pace corporate work environment. Individual will be able to dress business casual. In this environment there will be a lot of customer service needed along with the fast-pace challenging setting. Will be times where this person will need to translate technical terms into non-technical language. This individual will be a part of a team, but in some circumstances will be required to work independently. Our client is a Global Fortune 200 company.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay Rate: $15-17/hr.
It is required that all contractors complete a background check and drug screen report. They must pass a drug screen with a positive clearance and the background check without the following convictions on their record.
