Lead Web Developer

They are currently seeking a Lead Web Developer for their Duluth, GA location.

This is a hands-on role involving the design, development, coordination and implementation of enhancements to web pages. The successful applicant will work closely with Information Security Operations, Delivery, and other Technical Teams to provide rapid development and enhancements to the Information Security Dashboard. The selected candidate will be assigned to lead a team of developers and also be available to contribute to the development efforts as needed. This role would require regular coordination between adjacent technical teams and the Information Security web developers. The applicant should be comfortable providing feedback to developers and communicating any necessary changes that need to be implemented. The developer should have experience with web development involving various data sources and ideally some familiarity with multiple systems and security platforms including anti-virus, Firewalls, web filtering, and similar systems.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

- Work directly with Information Security leadership to design, develop, coordinate and implement enhancements to the Information Security monitoring webpages
- Coordinate dashboard design and issue resolution between technical teams and developers
- Be attentive to detail and provide feedback to developers as needed
- Ensure integration between the Information Security dashboard and the Executive Monitoring dashboard
- Ensure integration between the Information Security dashboard and key applications and systems
- Individually accountable for application design on assigned projects
- Follow process and procedures for change control
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Resolves high impact and/or complex, chronic or cross-functional problems
- Creates or updates documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Qualifications:

- 5+ years' experience of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JQuery is preferred)
- 4+ years' experience of SQL in writing complex queries and stored procedures
- 4+ years' experience of Website development in one of the following code bases, VB.NET or C#.NET
- 4+ years' experience with n-tier Client Server architecture
- 3+ years' experience with SOAP or RESTful web services using AJAX
- 3+ years' experience of creating websites from scratch and maintaining the web server (can be IIS, Apache, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must
- Ability to multitask required
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and recommend solutions to all levels of business, sometimes during high stress situations

Beneficial Qualifications:

- 1.5+ years' experience in Flot charts is a plus
