Location: Brussels

Functional Deliverables

- Support & Lead the function of GSM Telecom Network operations transition towards the Service Delivery phase
- Serves as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC), representing the Operations stream for transition, comprising of Field operations & GNOC Operations.
- Establish a compliance on the Quality & Milestone deliverables during the transition phase, with strict adherence to the timelines in the project plan
- Interact with the incumbent Partner & the Customer towards accomplishing the deliverables under transition
- Prepare weekly & monthly dashboard status on the transition progress
- Maintain an updated Issue & Risk register on the transition plan progress.
- Participate in meetings with the incumbent Partner & the Customer on an ad-hoc basis.
- Participate in Tele-conversations with the incumbent Partner & the Customer on an ad-hoc basis.
- Regular interaction with the Onsite & Offsite transition delivery team towards the transition scope completion.
- Work in Tandem with the Program Office at Onsite & Offsite in meeting the overall transition objective.
- Work with Cross Function transition teams at Onsite & offsite in meeting the overall transition objective.
- Participate in physical site audits during transition.

OEM Proficiency

- Good understanding of Ericsson RAN & Core Architecture
- Good understanding of ZTE RAN & Core Architecture
- Good understanding of Transmission topologies, with OEMs as Ericsson, Tellabs & ALU
- Good understanding of IP architecture, with OEMs as Cisco, Huawei & Tellabs

Desired Skillsets

- IP certification
- Certification on Health & Safety

Mandatory skillsets

- Good understanding of End to End design requirement to set up a BTS/NodeB/eNodeB site (covering Active & Passive infrastructure)
- Good understanding of RAN & Core Interconnectivity in 2G/3G/4G architecture
- Good understanding on Managed Services Operations Process framework for Field operations & GNOC operations.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point & MS Access
- Good understanding of Operations KPI & SLA deliverables for 2G/3G/4G
- Ability to read through the Network performance report & derive baseline analysis.

Work Environment

- Flexible work schedule foreseen, beyond the Monday to Friday work period, where employee is expected to be available after office hours & during weekends.
- Expected to be available over phone during Off-Office hours, while Onsite presence may not be mandatory.
- Exposure to moderate weather conditions.
- Exposure to poor illuminated work areas at times.
- Job clearly mandates human visual senses on Close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to focus.

Education & Experience

- Bachelors in Electronics/Telecommunication
- 8 to 10 years of relative work experience in the field of Transmission/IP/GSM
- Led a team size of over 5 in the past experience.

Language Skills

- English is mandatory.
- Dutch/French verbal skills are desired.

Additional requirement

- Valid Driver License
- No history of convictions in the court of law
