Lead Technical IT Security Architect - Associate Director - 80-85k+ benefits + bonus

A rapidly growing global investment bank with its major functions centralised in the UK is looking to hire a Senior Technical IT Security Architect (Subject Matter Expert) to lead and take ownership over Security Architecture for the businesses technology, applications and trading systems infrastructure.

This role will be working alongside other technical It security colleagues however this person is likely to be the most senior member of the technical security team and therefore must be an accomplished team player, driven and focused on delivery, with the ability to supervise and offer direction to the rest of the team.

Core Responsibilities:
* Creating and Implementing security solutions architecture and standards across multiple platforms - applications/hardware/messaging/connectivity/infrastructure and development platforms.
* Engagement with both business stakeholders and wide range of technology teams to drive security focus and compliance.
* Working on Multiple high level design projects aligned with technology
* Be the subject matter expert for IT and information risks, threats and solutions.
* Security and technology roadmaps, planning and reviews

Ideal skill set:
* Experience creating, implementing and maintaining security architecture standards, frameworks and operations (ISO 27001, SoGP etc)
* Have held Senior IT security engineering position with strategic delivery
* Good underlying knowledge of IT having come from an infrastructure or development background - with ability to work with teams across multiple platforms.
* Strong business and stakeholder facing skills with the ability to persuade, communicate complex issues and drive change.
