Leading Australian firm specialising in Financial Intelligence requires a Lead Technical Business Analyst for an initial 12 months plus contract located on the North Shore of Sydney.

As a Lead Technical Business Analyst you will be involved in all aspects of System Development Life Cycle of including business case documentation, requirement gathering, analysis, test script documentation and execution, documentation of training materials and all implementation related activities.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:

- Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure the business objectives are met.
- Create project documentation as per the standard for all phases of SDLC.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements on a timely basis.
- Enhancement and support (upgrades, patches) for all Banking business systems and their integration into the operational environment.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to analyse, determine and document their business requirements.
- Identifying possible ways to streamline or improve current or new processes.
- Provide advice & guidance and also challenge stakeholders in order to help them find a solution to their business needs.
- Development of operational reports/processes fulfilling business requirements.

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Degree or relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Comprehensive experience in analysis and design areas using UML analysis and design tools like Enterprise Architect.
- Knowledge in assisting to provide full traceability from requirements to deployment.
- Experience in working in different development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and delivering required documentation.
- Experience in mixed environments, with specific experience in moving from 'in-house developed' tools and database systems to mainstream packaged solutions including Business Intelligence applications, CRM solutions, case management and workflow.
- Good understanding of SDLC and/or other methodologies for system delivery.
- Good technical knowledge of programming, or systems design and database concepts.
- Exposure to banking and finance, law enforcement or customer oriented systems architectures.
- Exposure to any RDMS particularly Oracle, web based applications, Java, XML etc.,
- Exposure to Regulatory Compliance and Risk within the Financial Services industry.

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP IS ESSENTIAL TO SECURE THIS CONTRACT ROLE. YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
