Lead Technical Analyst (SEPA, Cobol, JCL, DB2)
Church International has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Technical Analyst to join a major banking organisation in Brussels.
Our client seeks a talented developer, to provide software solutions for SEPA and International payments. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for translating functional requirements into Technical Specification for other Technical Analyst and developers. The role will require outstanding development experience within Cobol (Mainframe), JCL, DB2, MS Office Tools and Visio. Due to the nature of the role, a background within banking, especially within SEPA is highly desirable.
Although the role is based in Brussels, candidates must be fluent in English to be considered for the position.
Role:
- Providing software solutions for SEPA and International Payments.
- Translating Functional Analysts into Technical Specifications for Technical Analysts.
- Provide support and mentoring to Junior Analysts.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Provide ad hoc development as and when required.
Skills and Experience:
- A background within banking and payments.
- Outstanding written, verbal and listening communication skills, with fluent English.
- Strong experience of translating Functional requirements into Technical Documentation.
- Knowledge of Mainframe development.
- Cobol (Mainframe)
- JCL
- DB2
- MS Office Tools
- Ms Visio
- SEPA and EPC Rule Books
