DESCRIPTION

This individual will be responsible for Business Intelligence & CRM integration design, testing and administration in a Hadoop and RDBMS environment based on both traditional RDBMS and NoSQL systems.

SKILLS

Traditional RDBMS data modelling and SQL, HDFS file storage strategies, MapReduce Programming, Hive, and Key-Value pair/Columnar data stores, modelling and retrieval strategies. Strong SQL

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting & administering traditional Business Intelligence tools such as Cognos is required. Strong SQL skills required. Experience designing, testing & implementing Hadoop based data environments from source system data to HDFS storage to Hive, NoSQL & RDBMS data access layers for specific and non-specific analytical and operational Business Intelligence and marketing functions. Experience supporting and administering CRM applications such as Unica is highly desired. Experience with HDFS, a RDMS such as Teradata and a NoSQL data store such as HBase or Cassandra. Experience with MapReduce, Sqoop, Flume, HCatalog and other Hadoop based tools is highly desired.
