Lead System Engineer (m/w)

For our client, a global automotive supplier company, we are currently looking for a Lead System Engineer (f/m) to join on freelance basis.

Duration: 9 months +
Location: Karlsruhe

Project details
- Lead and organize the System team
- Coordination and control of the delivery of system features and functions
- Establish and maintain the system features and functions for the assigned project in close cooperation with the customer
- Ensure all system features and functions are available to the team
- System Engineering (recording and maintenance of general requirements as a basis for the development of product Hardware / Software / Mechanics for driver information systems, body controller or hybrid systems
- Define general system test strategies

Qualification profile
- Expert or master in the SYS engineering for embedded or automotive systems
- Experience with the SYS engineering of vehicle manufacturers or their suppliers are advantageous
- Work experience with the SW tool-chain for:

* System engineering (DOORS advantageous, but not a prerequisite)
* Change management according SYS engineering
* SYS design
- Experience about SYS Validation is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of quality systems like CMMI, SPICE, IEC61508 and ISO TS16949 are advantageous
- Fluent business German and English for German locations
- Commitment, flexibility and support for multinational development

Education
- Degree in communications engineering, information technology, electrical engineering or similar
- Germany: TU, FH, BA, Bachelor, Master or similar
