LOCATION: NEW YORK
DURATION: 6 MONTHS

Job Description:
Role Responsibilities
- The role of the L2 Support Lead is to manage all aspects of Service delivery for the function or stream of work within a function for an Investment Bank
- 1st Escalation point for operational issue at the Stream Level in the region
- Owns: Critical Incident management for the stream, Problem management for the stream, and Knowledge management for the stream
- Should be able to communicate effectively across the project (stakeholders/sponsors, users, change teams, developers and testers)
- Contribute to business continuity strategies and disaster recovery exercises
- Ensures Shift handover to next team
- Working towards continuous Service Improvements
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience or Undergraduate degree and 4+ years' experience
- Experience with client Production Service Managers on Operational issues at stream level
- Experience delivering application support within set targets or Service Level Agreements
- Experience with the following: Oracle/Sybase, Unix, Shell Scripting, Java, MQ
- Stock Borrow lending business in Equity Finance, Investment Banking background.
Preferences
- Skills: ITIL V3, Investment Banking domain knowledge, Autosys, Perl Scripting, Stock Borrow lending business
