Lead Structural Engineer - Onshore, Steel, Design, FEA

Lead Structural Engineer required - Beijing - Onshore/Offshore Steel Structures - STAAD/ANSYS - 12 months - Lucrative rate and full expense package included

My Chinese client requires a Lead Structural Engineer to head up the team of local and expatriate Structural Engineers on an Onshore Gas Plant project.

Duties may also involve verifying designs for Offshore Platforms.

Essential Skills:

A relevant University degree

At least 10 years experience within Structural Design and Verification

STAAD/ANSYS/proficiency with FEA software

An ability to motivate and lead a team

A sound understanding and ability to work within prescribed deadlines and budgets

Bonus Skills:

Exposure to an international working environment

Interviews are taking place immediately in anticiaption for an early August start.

My client is prepared to wait for suitable candidate(s) to see-out their notice periods.

Rate is negotiable upon experience and suitability, with high net retention and a full expense package including accommodation, flights etc.

A rotation period can also be negotiated.
