Lead Stress Engineer - £50-65K (Neg on Experience)

Huxley Associates are currently recruiting for a Lead Stress Engineer for a permanent opportunity in the Bristol area. This exciting opportunity is offering a competitive remuneration package. The Lead Stress Engineer is an integral part of this market leader's Stress Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and conducting the stress analysis activities in support of the project requirements. You will also be working in conjunction with other functional areas of the company to develop existing and new products/structures. You will develop technical solutions which are compliant with all relevant requirements, ensuring design compliance by applying classical methods of analysis, providing solutions to meet airworthiness standards and design approvals as well as providing concession support to existing and future platforms. As part of this role, you will identify the requirements of the programme, establish good working relationships, estimate the work content and technically guide a team of Stress Engineers. The successful candidate will have an Engineering degree or equivalent. You will have a proven track record in stress analysis with in-depth knowledge of analysis techniques including hand calculations and software techniques.
