Lead Statistical (SAS) Modeller - Swindon - 10 Month Contract

LEAD STATISTICAL (SAS) MODELLER - SWINDON - 10 MONTH CONTRACT - This large financial organisation is actively seeking a Lead Statistical (SAS) Modeller for a 10 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector; however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE LEAD STATISTICAL (SAS) MODELLER ROLE:

SAS Skills:

- Base SAS
- SAS Enterprise Guide

Modelling Skills:

- Strong Modelling background
- Experience in working with large data sets
- Experience with relevant modelling techniques - Regression analysis, survivorship analysis, time series analysis
- Knowledge of appropriate statistical tests to ensure model quality
- Experience of taking models through a model validation process
- Experience of dealing with regulatory models and ensuring these meet regulatory standards
- Preferably experience of financial models (mortgages, savings, etc.)

Other Skills

- Strong stakeholder management
- Working with the business to define requirements
- Leading a small number of modellers
- Understanding regulatory requirements
