A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leading retail bank based in the city ofLondonfor a SQL Server Developer to join the banks core Finance IT team. This team are responsible for developing the banks core Finance relational database which is built in SQL Server 2008R2. This developer would be responsible for the entire build, as well as loading of data into the database using SSIS. They would be expected to be involved in the database design and database architecture and would play a lead role in the on-going development. The team are highly experienced SQL Server Developers, therefore they are looking for someone who is like minded. This SQL Server 2008R2 database deals with extremely high volumes of complex finance data and is business critical to the bank, this developer would be expected to work closely with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand requirements and the be extremely hands on in development. The Finance IT team are also responsible for developing a number reporting applications in C# 4.0, ASP.Net and their general ledger is built in Oracle 11g, therefore there may be occasional development work in these technologies, full training would be provided in these technology stacks.
