Lead Software Quality Assurance Tester Job

LEAD QUALITY ASSURANCE/TEST ENGINEER (Aviation Industry) needed for a Contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Responsible for leading, establishing and implementing the vision for all service offerings for the testing center
- Will support the entire enterprise and has the opportunity to become a game changer with supporting functional test throughout the company.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A LEAD QUALITY ASSURANCE/TEST ENGINEER:

- Work with business and technical teams to define testing requirements and specifications
- Create testing designs that allow for maximum re-usability of scripts
- Define, create and execute test plans
- Evaluate, design and build testing tools for automated unit and functional testing
- Mentor junior testers/scripters and be able to troubleshoot and lead deep-dive Tiger Teams on issues
- Perform code reviews
- Communicate effectively, with all levels of management and practitioners, to ensure all business requirements are being assessed and addressed
- Work closely with project managers, managers and development team leads

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE AS A LEAD QUALITY ASSURANCE/TEST ENGINEER:

- At least five to ten (5 - 10) years of development and QA Test Engineer experience
- Experience developing test suites with automated testing tools using .NET, Citrix, Silverlight, Flex, etc.
- Experience with HP Quality Center and Quick Test Pro with exposure to other functional test management tools
- Customer-focused, ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams, and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Preferably has mobile and cloud testing experience including use of automated test tools
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, perform well under pressure, and be a quick learner
