Lead Software Developer Boston- MA

One of our clients, a Boston based asset management company, is expanding its investment systems division.

I am currently seeking a lead software developer to build and design innovative solutions for its investment divisions. You will be working with data and research departments, implementing a wide variety of applications, from research and portfolio analysis to trade resolution.

In this position there will be a direct and extensive interaction with Traders, Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals.

This investment house is looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Team:

You will be part of a team, which consists of 6-8 Developers and a technical project manager. The client is fully committed to agile process development methodology.

What do you need to do?
* Propose and design technical solution.
* Implement applications based on the solutions proposed and work closely with users to test and integrate the applications into the current production environment
* Develop and support the applications.
* Working closely with business users, research analysts, portfolio managers and traders to identify areas where technology could be leveraged to enhance the investment process and achieve superior results

Skills:
* Master degree in computer science or equivalent
* Minimum 6 years of demonstrated success developing middle-tier applications in C#, Asp.NET, .NET
* Minimum 4 years of demonstrated success developing multithreaded WPF and/or Silver light applications in C#
* Having worked in a asset management environment
* On-site position in the Boston financial district
* Having the ability to work with traders and portfolio analysts and being able to provide them with technical solutions in the parameters of the group, for its investment requirements.
