Lead Sharepoint Developer

THIS IS A 3-6 MONTH, POSSIBLY LONGER, CONTRACT POSITION FOR A LEAD SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER.

OVERVIEW:

- Good understanding of quality programming guidelines, understanding of SDLC process
- Good understanding of design patterns
- Review and analyze business and functional requirements
- Ability to analyze complex issues and recommend solutions
- Design, analyze, code/develop, modify, test and install custom software components and/or applications for the enterprise environment
- Address issues in performance, scalability and manageability in programming efforts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing SharePoint web applications and sites
- Provide technical assistance and project guidance to development team members
- Train individual contributors on SharePoint technologies
- Experience working with Web Designers, graphic artists, business clients and Back End developers to create user-friendly Web interfaces that are easily maintained and upgraded would be a PLUS

Role Details:

- Design and code technical solutions
- Create and execute project work plans, revising as necessary to meeting changing needs and requirements
- Create well designed, reusable objects
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
- Develop an understanding of client's business and suggest effective  programming solutions

Requirements:

- Professional standards-based web development experience using:
- ASP.NET
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- C#
- VB.NET
- Expert level experience with SharePoint 2010 - 2013
- Experience with Portal Development and CMS targeted marketing
- Good working knowledge of SQL 2012 and SQL Reporting Services
- Experience using Visual Studio or related IDE
- Experience with a variety of Content Management Systems
- Knowledge of Security Standards and Techniques for Web Applications
- Understanding of browser-specific compatibility issues
- Expertise in the design, implementation and deployment of user-centric software with focus on usability
- Coordination with onsite and offshore team
- Banking experience would be a PLUS
