Lead Ruby on Rails Developer - Farnborough - 2 Month Contract

LEAD RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER - FARNBOROUGH - 2 MONTH CONTRACT

A requirement has arisen for a skilled Ruby on Rails developer to work in Farnborough for an award winning business.

The role will be primarily hands on development however as a lead developer part of the role will also involve being a mentor to a junior division of developers within the development team.

The perfect candidate for this opportunity will have ideally around 5 years of experience building Server Side web applications, including experience in designing and implementing all aspects of a SaaS based application as well as 3 years of experience building applications in Ruby

You will be responsible for Implementing APIs for internal and external use and building up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment plus much more.

- Ruby On Rails, Ruby, HTML, CSS
- Front End web development based in Responsive Web Design using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
-Working knowledge of Unix-like operating systems such as Linux and/or Mac OS X
-Knowledge of the use of version control systems such as subversion or git

MySQL, MongoDB -Experience of working with JavaScript libraries to produce data visualizations
-Experience of designing and maintaining secure and scalable public HTTP APIs
