On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution based in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a (LEAD) REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER to work on a large Tax Project. It's an initial 6-months contract with planned extension.
Are you looking for a challenging and versatile contract role within the financial industry?
In this contract, you will be taking over the Lead Requirements Engineering Role within a large project focusing on FATCA, Final Withholding Tax and European Withholding Tax.
Therefore, your tasks will include:
- elaborating, modelling and documenting requirements for clients and IT
- ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the user's specifications
- maintaining traceability of requirements & requests
- identifying impacts of changes on existing requirements
- providing inputs for an initial (application) test strategy
- assist the Project
Manager in prioritizing the requirements
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for an analytical and communicative individual with the following skills:
Mandatory
- 5+ years of Requirements Engineering experience within leading financial services providers
- Experience as Lead Requirements Engineer and/or Project Manager
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, especially of securities, single accounts, FX and forwar contract transactions processing (incl. corporate actions)
- Fluent English
Benefical
- Tax Know-How in the areas specified
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Software Development background
- Spoken German
