Lead Quality Engineer

Lead Quality Engineer required for client based in Aberdeen.

Applicants must have Significant experience in the engineering industry, of which some must have been with a major Oil and Gas contractor in an QHSE position and also significant experience in working with site resources.

Job Overview:

Manage quality matters within the integrated contract
Implement the contract quality plan ensuring that it meets the contractual requirements.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of contract Management System, ensuring that it is compliant with the client and company requirements.
Develop, maintain and support the contract Audit schedule (including both internal and external audits)
Manage preventive and corrective action tracking database.
Management of subcontractor's quality interfaces.
Advise on any PED issues, including liaison with notified bodies, etc.
Ensure that all aspects of quality control of procured and fabricated items are effectively managed.
Assist the Quality Team in any inspection and quality related investigation
Recognise and support Project delivery schedule dates in work programmes

Qualification

Qualified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001:2000
Minimum HNC or equivalent.
IQA Quality Management qualification

Daily rate or salary on offer.
