Lead QA Analyst

Our direct Fortune 500 insurance client is looking for a QA Manager for a 17 month contract position in Mayfield Village, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland, Ohio). We are looking for an individual that is willing to help drive and support evolving test engineering efforts within this platform. You will manage a team of around 10 resources. Proven experience organizing and leading testing efforts for large projects between 50K - 75K hours is required. Candidates must work on a W2 basis only.

Required:

-Proven experience organizing and leading testing efforts for large projects between 50K - 75K hours.
- Proven experience effectively allocating work and monitoring progress.
- Ability to write a test approach/strategy.
- Must have experience influencing an automation strategy for a project. Should have some hands-on experience with automation w/QTP being the preferred tool.Must be skilled in using Quality Center (QC/ALM) to generate data for metrics & reports.
- Ability to conduct test risk analysis.
- Hands on experience with SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
- XML, HTML
- APIs
- Understanding of web services and the technologies that support them.
- Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.
- Understanding of different types of testing techniques (Positive, Negative, Boundary Value, Pairwise, Combinatorial, etc.)
- Understanding of phases of testing (Unit, Integration, System, UAT)
- Experience with packaged software implementations including integration with Legacy systems.
- Mentoring other QA professionals

Plusses:

- Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
- Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
