The following skills are required:
o Good time management and organisational skills; be able to prioritise workload and demonstrate track record of achieving deadlines to achieve business goals
o Strong communications skills, comfortable with liaising with individuals at all levels to agree goals and influence decisions
o Experience in the completion of proposals (tender/RFP responses and proactive proposals) and/or experience of bid management processes
o Experience in the development, documentation and communication of proposal management procedures
o Able to deliver under pressure, working on own and as part of a team, and to quality standards; attention to detail is critical in this role
o Strong Microsoft Office application skills, and excellent written English and grammar
o Creative flair to contribute significantly to the development of attractive and compelling documentation that fully articulates the GBS proposition and meets client requirements
o Good presentation skills, with the confidence to address groups internally and externally including engagement with customers and prospects during pre and post tender meetings
o Strong analytical skills required to develop reporting requirements of role
o Intellectual capacity, commercial knowledge and acumen to provide advice and consulting support to Sales and/or Relationship Managers
o Working knowledge of card schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange and future product and service deliverables
