Lead Project Manager - Loans Heritage Migration - Halifax

Based in Halifax a Project Manager is required on a contract basis to work on a major business migration programme.

The programme relates to the migration of banking products from a Legacy platform.

Candidates must have strong all round PM skills and specific banking/financial services sector knowledge - ideally experience of working on business migrations. Good experience of business change management processes and extensive stakeholder management experience.

Any experience of operational reconciliation, financial reconciliation and credit risk would be ideal.

Other key requirements are:

- Experience of managing assumptions, risks, issues and dependencies across a multi-stream migration from Legacy systems within an FS organisation.
- Ability to create and manage the business case through submission and subsequent financial control of the programme.
- Ability to build a delivery roadmap and build into an overall business case, and gain stakeholder approval for the budget and plan.
- Deep skills in MS Project with 3+ years experience building and managing MS Project plans.
- Ability to build a delivery roadmap and build into an overall business case.
- Experience of creating, defining and administrating governance steering groups.
